The CycleSol melds the world of electric hybrid vehicle with a good old fashioned bike to give a highly effective commuter option. The canopy of the CycleSol is a solar panel materials that protects the rider from the sun while powering up the onboard battery.

The range of this bike when running on the lithium ion battery at this stage would max out just over 30 miles but can be recharged while riding or by plugging the battery into the main power grid.

While still in the concept stage the CycleSol has some great features including polycarbonate composite wheels for durability and weight reductions, LED signals, internal steering mechanism allowing the rider to keep their arms by their side for comfort, shock absorbing seat, and a snap together polycarbonate body/frame.
