According to Mazda, in the year 2025…

California freeways have been resurfaced with a sub-level electro-conductive polymer that powers the electric cars of the modern world. MAZDA’s patented electronic tire system uses this technology to power the KAAN to reach 250 mph with no harmful emissions!

Wouldn’t that make for an interesting commute? Unfortunately these are not intended for the daily commute but instead they are envisioned as the race car of the future.

The Kaan is Mazda’s entry in the Design LA Motorsports 2025 Design Challenge. One of 9 finalists in this years competition, the Kaan is designed specifically to work together with other team members to ride closely in Peloton fashion to reduce drag and increase performance from this already clean machine.
