The Kippen House chicken coop is an aesthetically modern and made-to-order structure that also includes built-in garden space so you don’t have to sacrifice a square inch of your yard when adding chickens to your urban farm.
Coolest Things About the Kippen House coops: They're designed with sidewall frame panels that are interchangeable and can be assembled in a manner that responds to each unique yard. You can choose between a living roof or a vertical garden design.
Perfect Gift Idea For: urban farmers, gardeners, architect wanna-bes, folks who want to raise their own chickens but don't know how to build a coop.
How You Can Get One: Contact Traci here with questions or for purchasing info.
The Kippen House was designed by Traci, a wife, mama and architect from the Seattle, Washington area. Here's how Traci describes the way the Kippen House came to be:
A few years ago I became creatively obsessed with designing the perfect chicken coop for our family. After many compliments and encouragement I decided to start my own business...Kippen House was born! I currently offer building my chicken coops in the Seattle/Portland region.
Kippen means 'chicken' in Dutch. Kippen House is a joining of my dutch heritage and love of modern, dutch design combined with my curious interests with urban agriculture in the form of an urban garden chicken coop.
Kippen House chicken coops were designed with the idea that urban chicken coops should look good, be multi-functional and offer the ability to adapt and increase in size easily!
