The Daegu Arboretum in Daegu, Korea, features 230,000 square meters of gardens and greenhouses, including a cactus greenhouse, a bog garden, an herb garden and a picnic area. To look at it today, you'd never know it was a sanitary landfill from 1986 through 1990.
