Providing tools and repair kits, Bike Fixation makes urban riding a cinch when you are in a pinch.
Although Bike Fixation itself is not a "green innovation", anything that keeps people on their bikes and out of their cars is alright with me. Many urban riders tend to carry tools and repair kits with them, but sometimes you just don't have everything you need. Or maybe you decided to carry a lighter load since you were headed out on the town for the night. Bike Fixation is a fantastic solution for urban bike repair.
From Bike Fixation: Bicycles are incredible tools for sustainable transportation and recreation. And of course, they're a blast to ride. But sometimes you get a flat tire, forget to bring a snack (beware of the bonk!), or need to make a minor adjustment. That's where Bike Fixtation comes in. You can buy a tube or patch kit, pump up your tires for free, and make simple adjustments using supplied tools.
Based in Minneapolis and started by two fellows, Chad and Alex, Bike Fixation is hoping to expand to other bike-friendly cities. Currently the only self-service vending machine is located at a train station in Minneapolis.
