Indoor gardens keep the growing season alive, but none will allow to communicate with nature quite as efficiently this one.
A collaboration between The Clorofila and Aer Studio, the Hanging Garden is much more than your average wall planter. It incorporates advanced technology to allow the plants to communicate their needs in a way that even the most clueless human gardeners can understand.
Motivated by a desire to explore the relationship between nature and technology, the designers incorporated moisture sensors and an Arduino so that the approximate level of moisture in the plants could be known. When a plant needs water, it sensors turn on the LED corresponding to that specific plant, allowing the gardener to know which plant needs attention.
